The year is new
within my hands:
let it unravel with your name
written on the hours.

And, let me but hear
the words you speak
as the year
is spoken in your name.

Let me but see
the vision you have made
as the year
is drawn upon eternity.

Let me but touch
your outstretched hands
and in the year
enthrone you as my King.
